University at Buffalo 2020

My grades aren’t that good I think xD… Don’t judge me. My school has two separate GPAs which is high school and college GPA.
I applied for Early Action. During that time I had like 3.1 high school GPA and 2.975 College GPA.
After the mid-year report, my high school GPA is 3.3 and my college GPA is 3.03
I only took the SAT and got 1470 (990 for Reading and Math…) and I’m majoring in Computer Science

I FEEL LIKE MY CHANCES ARE SO LOW.

Hey,

I’m a transfer student. I had to call U at B because I hadn’t heard anything as well. There was a mix up with my transcripts (on U at B’s end). I would be proactive and reach out to your transfer coordinator to get an update. Like be really persistent, they are not going to make any effort to keep you updated. Yes, I am still waiting on an admission decision.

I think I should call again.

Someone else call too

I’m planning on calling next week on Monday.

I applied regular and I got my decision with 12 days. When did y’all exactly apply? Like the date!

I applied Early Action on Nov 14, 2015 and they wanted my mid-year report before responding to my application.

Same exact date and scenario for me ^

So I was reading up on the whole 5000 fake acceptance emails mishap in the news. And one of the articles said that students still in review should hear back by April 22. Hope this helps. (I know it made me feel a bit relieved).

Yea. My best friend had that email and showed it to me. I hope they can at least finish reviewing the process and respond to us by then.

My son applied on April 1st. He just recieved his acceptance in today’s mail.

Am I the only one who hasn’t heard back? I’m starting to get nervous because UB is my top choice and the deposit is due in 5 days. I’ve called once and was told I will know in a week or two, this was 4 weeks ago. Please let me know if you’re in the same boat!!

I know how you feel bruh.we are in the same boat.didnt heard back yet.my sat score is 1600.my bro got even higher.1700.he didnt heard back either.wondering what is yours!@ajacobs939

@ajacobs939 Its okay. You’re not the only one who hasn’t heard back. Apparently all the people in my school heard from Buffalo and most of them got accepted. One of them had like 3.3 GPA and around 1350s SAT I think?

My son was accepted to UB for Fall 2015. He applied by Nov 15 and received his acceptance letter to the engineering major at the end of January. The scholarship money was in his acceptance letter. He was offered a chance to apply to the Honors College but that was a separate email. Hope this helps.
