<p>I’m not that well versed in the best places of study are for the genre and instrument, but these are some that come to mind off the top of my head; not all are university programs, and all are not necessarily within your geographic parameters.</p>
<p>Not actually in, but very close to NYC are William Paterson University and SUNY Purchase. Both have jazz trombone.</p>
