My son was accepted into GSP at the beginning of March, and we attended an information sessions for GSPers shortly afterwards. There was a panel of speakers, including the dean (I think), professors and a student. Based on that session, and also lots of information that we learned through college confidential, my son will attend GSP next year! A few days before he received the offical acceptance, he received a notice about a University Day Reception for GSP students (12 noon on Sunday, April 9). We were wondering if this will be different than the session we already attended in March. Does anyone know? We called the school, but they didn't seem to know.

You should go. Any information is helpful. What a wonderful mother to ask such good questions!!!!!!

I think it may be redundant information. However, NYC is always a great place to visit....and great shopping too!

i've found that if the presenters are the same, you'll get the same information. find out who the presenters will be and if they're the same as in the initial session, i might avoid it. or contact whomever sent the initial invitation, latest notice or a presenter from the first session or contact from materials received then. they should know. good luck!
