Hello all. I'm giving serious consideration to my future financial circumstances as a student. Currently, I'm a full-time working student with a ~45 hour-a-week job. I intend on leaving this position come spring and commit all my faculties to studying. I'm aware that Columbia offers it's students some campus-work opportunities. Being that I have an apartment with my also working girlfriend, I have some support and would thus need a supplemental income of probably around 250-300 a week.

My questions are a few: are there part time positions on or around campus, affiliated with the University, that pay within that range? Also, are there perhaps some paid positions for assistants in a science lab, for endeavoring science majors? You can understand how this would be of utmost importance, as I cannot forsee financial viability for us on one income, and likewise see numerous obstacles in outside work. I can perhaps manage an on campus job while remaining diligent to academics, and hopefully have the two interfunction seamlessly.

thanks.
