<p>I just got my financial aid package from USC.</p>
<p>Is "University Grant" a loan? I know that a grant is money given to me, but I was pretty sure I wasn't going to recieve a grant.</p>
<p>It is a need-based discount off the full price of tuition. It is not a loan.</p>
<p>Thats great news. Also, I understand that the University Grant can change. What are the chances that I will recieve the same amount in the three subsequent years.</p>
<p>It will stay about the same from year to year, if your family finances are about the same.</p>
