University Mini Mart (Uni Mini)

The Uni Mini was probably the most essential part to my experience of Johns Hopkins last summer.

Their food is delish, but from what I hear, the PiKE frat-house is getting demolished because it's a wreck. Uni Mini, being located just below the frat's housing, will go along with it.

They have a dollar bill from every country posted right above the cash register, and their food is amazing. I think these facts constitute enough reason for the store to be relocated close by.

So does anyone know what will become of this place?

pray for the best

Its already been confirmed that they are moving near where subway is. So a quarter of a block from where they are now.

The building that UniMini is in is going to be demolished sometime "this spring or summer" and UniMini will reopen in the Village Lofts next October or November. (The Village Lofts is a new construction project next to Subway, which is just across the street from the current UniMini).

Thanks guys. Hah, it was nice to read that another Hopkins student enjoys the Uni Mini chicken parm subs.

I'm curious though, how involved has Hopkins been in supporting Pike and WaWa?
