Thanks for the suggestion ClassicRockerDad for Wentworth. My husband REALLY doesn’t want our son to look at any Boston area colleges, but we’ll keep it in mind.

ljoplin, I did see the travel voucher but since it’s only redeemable if he attends, I think of it as a mini-grant. I would see it as an incentive if they reimbursed half of that just for looking.

I never heard that before. It’s a pretty popular place to go to college. What’s does he think is wrong with Boston area colleges? Is he a big Yankee fan or something?

He just hates the drive to Boston and driving in Boston. He’s gone several times for work and just doesn’t like it. The rest of the family does not share his prejudices and it’s our daughters second favorite city. I guess everybody has their quirks. I don’t want my son to look at California colleges just because of the travel time and cost.

A friend’s son likes Wentworth. Driving in Boston is difficult, but kids can come home from Boston via train, bus or plane, which is a plus and it is one of the very best college towns in the US.

At this stage of the game, we’re not ruling out any college that meets most of our criteria. Son doesn’t even know if urban or non-urban is a priority for him. Wentworth is on the list.

I know this is a fairly old thread, but does anyone have any knowledge on this school now? As in has it gotten any better? Reason I’m asking is because I’m thinking of doing their online master’s degree (the one that’s an MS in Game Production and Management), so if there is anyone who has completed it or know someone that has, some feedback would be great. An unbiased pros and cons would be much helpful.
