I got a 29 on my act and had a 3.7 gpa, so the university of alabama sent me a scholarship letter. I just moved it up to a 32 so will I get a bigger scholarship now? Also, I am very confused on whether or not I have to apply for the sholoarhip or if it's automatically given. I know for some of the scholarships there is an application with a deadline of December the first, but do I have to apply for scholarship for act and gpa?

This sounds like a question better addressed by contacting admissions rather than asking on a forum.

Yes, you will soon get a new letter for the Presidential Scholarship…full tuition.

Congrats.

If you don’t get that soon, email amber.capell@ua.edu and ask. Include your CWID and full name.

ask your Bama questions here…

I wouldn’t wait! Call your regional admissions counselor today or Dean of Admissions and let them know. Don’t let some deadline pass or have them run out of money or scholarships.

Naviance…I gave her the correct contact person’s email address. She doesn’t need to bother any Deans or anybody else.

She won’t have missed any deadlines because she’s ALREADY applied. Bama won’t “run out of money” because that scholarship is assured for stats when you apply before Dec 15.
