@PhilaSkiMom No apologies needed, I just wanted prospective parents (yourself included) to understand the type of locale that The University of Alabama is situated in. I am a born and bred city gal raised right in NYC, so I definitely understand Urban. I really think that all things considered, UA and Tuscaloosa are a perfect blend for the college years. Please visit and judge for yourselves. To me, UA is the quintessential university campus.

^ Re Post #17: According to the FB group I just recently joined regarding ride shares and shuttles, there IS a Tuscaloosa to Atlanta shuttle at break times - this is chartered (i.e., not through UA), but it does exist.
