So I have been recently accepted to both the University of Albany and Rochester. I like both but I am having a hard time deciding. Does anyone have anything to say about either school? Which one would you choose and why? Anyone? Thanks in advance :) and good luck to other seniors out there! :)

hey.

First off, are finances an issue? Because then Albany would probably be cheaper (I’m assuming SUNY Albany).

Money aside, I would recommend UofR. It has a very excellent academic reputation, and I have a lot of friends there who really enjoy it. Albany is, for the most part, a pretty miserable city (although UofR isn’t exactly in the best neighborhood of Rochester). Also, I don’t believe Albany really compares to the sort of academic prestige (if you care about that) or quality that Rochester can give you.

Good Luck!
