What GPA is considered for the University of Arizona SALT (Strategic Alternative Learning Technique) program for learning differences?
Hello @Pwrskt28 You probably have answers by now. UA SALT Center has pretty detailed information on their application site. It is not based on GPA.
The admission to SALT does not depend upon the admission to UA and vice-versa.
My son got admitted to SALT Center before being accepted at UA. The key if admitted to SALT and UA is to put down your deposit for the SALT center spot right away (most of it is refundable if you apply for refund by May 15th, if your child decides to go elsewhere to school).
SALT center also does not communicate/work with UA’s disability services office - your student needs to do that communication separately to receive a letter of accommodation for his Learning Differences.
