University of Barcelona?

I'm about to be a senior in high school and I've been thinking about attending a university in Europe. I really like the University of Barcelona so far. Is this a difficult school to get into? I am fluent in Spanish and English will this help?

I found this:

<a href=“Admissión GRADO: bachillerato extranjero”>http://www.ub.edu/acad/es/admision/internacionales/noiniciado.html</a></p>

Scroll down to the “Resto de alumnado (no perteneciente a la Unión Europea)” category, since you’d have a high school diploma from outside the European Union. I don’t know how difficult admissions are. I’m guessing the Spanish is more of a requirement than a plus, though. Follow the instructions on the link. Seems like you’d have to send transcripts/proof of high school studies & take the PAU (their SAT-equivalent).

They speak Catalan, not Spanish, in Barcelona. My daughter’s foreign exchange program discouraged her from studying there for that reason.

@mainelonghorn Oh, that’s why some of the links weren’t in Spanish. @lushamusha you might wanna look elsewhere in Spain.

Most schools in Europe aren’t really that difficult admission-wise.

If you want to go to school in Spain you should be looking at Salamanca.
<a href=“Universidad de Salamanca | Universidad de Salamanca”>Universidad de Salamanca | Universidad de Salamanca;

They have classes that teach you how to speak Catalan at the school. It’s not difficult to learn if you speak Spanish or other Romance languages. But yeah I’ll also look at some of the other schools in Spain.
