[/ul]General Comments: 500$ Entrance Scholarship. Really happy, UBC was different (than UCs), a nice international school.

My son was just accepted to the Faculty of Science in Vancouver a few days ago! From CA, 2100 SAT, 730 & 740 SAT II, 3.85W GPA. He’s very excited, now has to choose between UCs, UBC, and Colo State. Going up to visit in April. Good luck everyone!

Hi, how do I view the UBC class of 2015 page?

Faculty of the Arts Vancouver campus!!!
SO HAPPY!
I’m from California and still waiting on a few schools but I’ll be visiting UBC in April and if everything works out that’s where I’ll be in the fall!

Good luck everyone!

Is UBC supposed to send me a package after I get accepted? I just received a register/orientation guide. Is that it?? Won’t they send me some paper work (i.e. visa documents, residence info, etc)???

Help!!! Advice needed :smiley:
thanks

Ugh… still waiting…

My transcript was processed on the 14th, and a UBC rep told me it takes 2-4 weeks to receive a decision. SO NERVOUS. UBC is my #1 choice…

@lakerace
Same…I’ve had the “your supplemental application is being processed” statement for a a week now…I just want to know if I’ll make it into Sauder (International student - IB 31).

@cheatsisazn
I’m applying to Sauder as well, as a transfer student from California. On my app, it just says “Your application is ready for evaluation. You will be notified in writing as soon as a decision has been made.”

Turned in my Faculty of Science supplement on March 14 and got accepted on March 24! :smiley: I’m rather surprised the admissions process was so fast on my part, considering my weak GPA…!

UW GPA- 3.6
SAT- 2310 superscore
SAT IIs- 800 math 2c, 720 lit, 700 chem

I was admitted to the Vancouver campus’s faculty of the arts in february… it looks like I might be going there!

Anyone know if there is a facebook group?

@lakerace

I’ve been rejected by UBC Sauder :(

@cheatsisazn
Awww… that’s too bad. Sauder is extremely competitive though, so don’t feel too bad about it.

I just got into University of Washington Seattle, and Iam still waiting for the decision from UBC. I applied both for their business school and heard that they both are competitive. I am a Chinese citizen so that tuition is not the biggest matter for me as long as I can get into a good school and do well there. I had 1900on SATI, and 760 on mathII, 730 on chemistry, 3.875~4.4 on GPA/4.0. Is there a good chance for me to get into UBC? And it is so hard for me to decide which of the two I really should go since I donot know much about neither. Any suggestions?

hey guys. i’ve already gotten my offer for Vancouver’s Faculty of Science, but i’m waiting for my admission letter. i’m curious as to if all of the offers that are given are at 24 IB points (assuming you take the IB diploma of course) because there seems to be a trend. all of my friends who have gotten offers are at 24 IB points. could anybody answer this? thanks
