University of Calfornia (UC) acceptance

please post if you get accepted or denied from any UC, thanks

you might want to check out the threads on that same topic for each individual UC. Although it is interesting to see it in an aggregate way.

most of us applies to multiple UCs, so it would be easier to have a thread just for all the UCs …

I think these are the days that the decision will be announced

UCB - 3/24
UCSB - 3/21
UCLA - starting mid March
UCSD - starting mid March

heard that UCSD start sending out supplemental questionaire …

I already got accepted to:
UC Davis
UC Irvine
UC Merced
UC San diego
UC santa cruz
UC Santa barabra

I am waiting for UC Berkeley and UC LA so far.
UC Berkeley is my goal to get into.

accepted to UC Riverside

only applied to UC Merced also, plus other CSU schools

most people (including myself) wont know till late march…

Bernie, you must be a perfect student if so, congratulations …

from what I know, UC don’t have early admissions, and only UCR and UCI have notify applicants that they are admitted, they started Feb 1st and will run through end of March …

^UCSB releases decisions on the 21st?? And UCSD hasn’t released its decisions yet. Care to explain?

may be he means last year, hee hee hee

Well, I applied to four–Berkeley, UCLA, UCSB, and UCSD.

I have ELC, which means I’m accepted to UCSB, but I haven’t received an official acceptance yet.

I received notice that I am a finalist for the Regents scholarship from Berkeley which, at this point, I am equating to an acceptance.

Nothing from UCSD or UCLA yet, but at this point, if I have Berkeley, I don’t really care. :)

wadawada, what is your major ???
I heard that my major of computer science is the hardest to get in, oh well …

My major is Psychology.

I’m incredibly excited about Berkeley, especially… their Psychology department is amazing! Most websites rank it the sixth best undergraduate psych department in the US, but when it comes to research opportunities, it’s second only to Stanford.

I applied for Caltech but I know the chance is between slim and none
I also applied to the UCs, and my preference is

UCLA
UCSD
UCB
UCSB
UCI (accepted)

UCB is the best UC, but I am from Los Angeles, so it is a lot closer to home …

only got in riverside.
any know if Irvine’s admission in Feb is sent to all those who are accepted or just the regents and elc? thx

Im in ELC and i got accepted to all those already. Im just waiting for Berkeley which is my dream school.

As a fellow southern California person, I think I’d rather go farther to school, which is another reason why Cal is so awesome. It’s nice to be close to families and everything, but I want a “going off to college” sort of experience.

People not in ELC have heard decisions from UCR and UCI, I believe, but they release their acceptances in waves, so don’t fret.

counting down - only 32 more days to go

received an invitation from UCSB to attends UC Santa Barbara Reception for high-achieving applicants

Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott
Saturday, March 19,2011 at the Fairmont Hotel, San Jose

but I have not heard about getting accepted …

yeah, i received that in the mail too. UCSB isn’t a super competitive school admissions-wise though, so it’s probably a pretty good sign… on other threads people are saying it’s an unofficial acceptance. idk, i don’t really believe them, but it’s a possibility.
