<p>She did visit. I’ve heard visiting really does help. Especially considering she traveled halfway across the country for a visit.</p>
<p>So I applied to the film dept at UCLA. This is the time when I hope I get a call. I’m going to be a transfer student. Did anyone apply to the film dept and got a call for an interview yet? I’m hoping that I get a call soon, but I don’t if they will do the transfers second and the freshmen first. What do you guys think?</p>

<p>Hey there, I’ve already been accepted to Berkeley through Regents too. Its formal name is Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholars and it’s given to the top 1% of applicants or so, inviting them to stay overnight on campus and interview for a potential scholarship and other perks. It’s for them to start recruiting their top applicants early to grab their attention. But all people have long been notified by this point… all that’s left is to see if we get the scholarship!</p>

<p>Got into UCLA and Davis already… Waiting on Berk… I feel bad though because I’m already committed to Stanford REA but I applied to UCs before I got admission… I feel like I’m taking someone’s spot :/</p>
