University of Calgary and University of Alberta
I know that Calgary has a very low acceptance and University of Alberta has a little higher acceptance rate.

Major- Computer Science
class 10- 8.8/10
class 11- 73%
class 12- expecting 85-90 %
TOEFL- 91
SAT- 720 math and 570 English = 1290

I think that both are moderately difficult to get into. I find it hard to know how to interpret your grades from India since the grade scales are probably quite different here in North America. To me both your TOEFL and your grade 11 GPA are a bit low. 720 on the Math SAT is fine, but 570 is probably borderline also. I am suspecting that your 570 English SAT and your TOEFL are probably related, and probably both suggest that you would be well advised to work on your English language skills.
While these are both very good schools, I am curious why you chose these two over perhaps 25 other very good schools in Canada, unless you are considering Petroleum Engineering as a major. Whether this is true or not, you might want to also at least take a look at Memorial University of Newfoundland, which might be slightly easier to get into and slightly less expensive.

tbh I’m not bad at English. I can speak, write, and read with ease. I just didn’t take the test properly. But yea I could work on my skills.
I chose these schools because they seem to have an international reputation. Many of my friends have (at least) heard of these schools. I plan to major in Computer Science. I suppose UofC and UA have a good reputation for Engineering and their tuition fees are affordable. Are they not good for computer science?

They are both very good for computer science. The only set of rankings that I am familiar with that focuses on Canadian schools are the various rankings of Macleans magazine. They have both in the top 10 for computer science, and Alberta fifth after the obvious top 4 (which are hard to get into for CS):

I wouldn’t get too hung up about the rankings however. I think that anything on this list would be quite good (noting that two of the schools on this list teach in French, which will matter for many students).

The passing grade at my school is 33% and the minimum required score is 63%. I have a 73 in my grade 11.
Is this going to hurt my chances?
Also, I have 2 scored a 20/30 in 2 sections in the toefl. UA says that there has to be a minimum of 21 in each section.
Will this mess up my admission or will I be admitted conditionally?
I heard about Calgary university a day ago but it was too late to apply and as i heard it is fully funded for international students, is it ? Is it hard to use student transfer i i will study here in my country. My current scores are IELTS-7, GPA 3.5/4 and soon will take SAT from math 2 and physics. Can anyone help me??? I am in love with this university and country and is it free for transfered student?
@Oathkeeperr International tuition at UCalgary is about $20K CAD. Other costs such as room and board and books would add another $20K. Yes, it would be hard to transfer.
I can’t say a lot abt it but I applied to UCalg for soft eng, I read on their websites that by no means, they will accept a student with a score below the Canadian average, but still, apply because you never know what could happen.
Did u get into university of Alberta?
