<p>I thought UC’s sent out acceptance/rejection letters from March 1-30.
But a couple of my friends have already heard replies from UC Davis?
Whats going on?
Should i be worried if i haven’t heard back from any of the UC’s i’ve applied to?</p>
<p>Some kids, in the top 4% of the graduating class are in a program called ELC, which guarantees admittance into a UC (not necessarily the UC of their choice however). Davis, among some others, sent these kids letters stating that if they applied, they would be automatically admitted, provided they continued their academic excellence. I’m pretty sure these kids who said they’ve already gotten in are a part of this program.</p>

<p>I think they also contact you in Jan/Feb if you’re a candidate for a regents or chancellor scholarship … think top 2% or 5% of admits.</p>
