University of California, Riverside or California State University, Fullerton for accounting ?

I’m majoring in business administration with a concentration in accounting. I currently attend Fullerton college and I should be transferring in fall 2016. I have applied to CSUF but not UCR. I loved the UCR campus and would like to attend there but everyone is advising me that CSUF is the better for choice for my major because they are accounting accredited. Both schools are AACSB accredited business schools but CSUF is specifically accredited in accounting. Only two schools in California hold this accreditation and that would be CSUF and USC. What would be the better school for me?
I REALLY want to go to to UCR

I’m not sure that CSUF > UCR for accounting. Also, your accreditation list looks incomplete (I think SDSU & USD are on there as well). Plenty of excellent AACSB accounting programs do not have the accounting accreditation.

I would fully expect as long as you get good grades, you can get hired to a Big 4 from either school.

Perhaps it’s worth a visit (or call) to career services at each school to get an understanding of how the last few classes have done in the recruiting process.
