<p>AdamantineX, there is a school called University of California San Francisco. However, it does not have an undergraduate college. It is strictly for graduate school education. As a matter of fact, it usually ranks in the top ten for the graduate schools in the sciences as well as its professional schools in medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy.</p>

<p>oh crap no wonder. i saw ucsf on world university ranking and i was like wth theres no such thing.. and i thought it was uc berkeley but uc berkeley is on the list too...</p>
<p>There is a University of San Fran but its a private religious university and I think there is a CSU</p>

<p>Also, the UCSF Medical Center is regularly recognized as one of the best hospitals in America.</p>
