I just took the SAT for the second time and got the exact same score as last time-1860.
But this time both my reading and math scores were up, but my writing significantly dropped. I know that UCs look closely at writing, which should I send?

For UC’s, they require that you send in all your SAT scores or at least when I was trying to send my scores to one of them, they did. I think that 1860 is a decent score and the fact that you improved is a good thing.

You should send all of them because of UC’s requirement, like sooyoung mentioned. Good luck!

I would take the test one more time to see if you can get the higher scores in CR and M plus the better score in W.

As others have said, send all scores

WAIT… UC’s require you to send in all your scores, what happened to score choice and all that…i know they dont superscore, but they look at every single one you took?

@Dream4Life You can’t use score choice for UC’s… they look at all your scores

I understand you’re supposed to send all the scores, however you can only put one score on the actual application. Which one do you think?

"Does UC average the SAT Reasoning Test scores if an applicant has taken the test more than three times?

For students who take the SAT Reasoning Test, we use the highest combined score in critical reading, math and writing from a single sitting"

so does this mean that you send in your best, or you send in all and they themselves will look at your best?

You send in all and they look.
