The error isn't on the application update, but on the initial application due on 11/30/06.

So I just visited UCLA this past weekend, and I honestly dont want to go anywhere else now. Wow, just wow.

Im seriously considering staying a third year at CC, changing my major from poli sci to computer sci(which is what I would really like to do) and vastly improving my chances to go to LA. (3.3 gpa at the end of fall this year, should have a 3.6 by fall of next year)
I just dont know if I can handle another year of living at home and going to CC...

westwood sucks imo

I went to UCSB this past weekend and it was incredible! I applied to UCLA, UCSB, UCI, and UCSD, but I honestly can't see myself choosing UCI and UCSD over UCSB. That place is just amazing. So basically, if I get in to all the schools I applied to, it's going to be between UCLA and UCSB for me...

ucsb is nice, and great party school! but the only negative thing i have against sb is that its very independent...no one is gonna baby sit you and you can expect a lot of temptation because theres no doubt that there will be times when your roommate is going to be partying while you'll probably be studying

ewwwwww lol

i hate ucla

(mainly bc of all the iroonis)

bobbak ur such an LA persian

i loooooove la!! love at first site. haha. but any college is what you make of it; everyone has their own preferences. ugh, and i wish they gave us more space to comment in.

la is a nice place. any place with mediterreanean climate is superior for learning. just look at the greeks! they lived with almost 365 days of sun which allowed great ideas to be produced. just look at history: all ancient civilizations sprung in the sunny climates.

just imagine urself at the getty villa (which is really close to ucla) reading gibbon's classic, The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire (a 3000 page magnimity) with some bach or vivaldi in the backround and admiring some of the greek and roman art that is around u.
this is true appreciation of the classics: living in the environment the great ancients had.

um yeah but LA is closer to hot than nice

the bay area

now thats a location for brilliant ideas = )

^ Indeed

hhjfgjhghg

bay areaaaaaaaaaaa born and raised for 19 years

yeahyeah, i know this is unrelated.

I noticed that you have UC Davis listed. Did you sign up for the guaranteed transfer agreement with the CC? It is a wonderful program.

its not unrelated!

lol too bad the stupid hyphy movement has lowered our IQ

cant wait that to pass as a fade. quite sick of it

major: sociology
GPA: 3.69
EC: VITA; Katrina Relief; children's homeless shelters; recognition from Senator Ortiz 3 years in a row for VITA; visual artist w/ several successful sales of artwork; governer's safety award for being a first responder & using CPR when my co-worker had a heart attack; PTK member
Work experience: 42 hours a week as a state employee and additional hours on the weekend modeling.
schools: UCD & UCB ( transfer agreement w/ UCD)
My question to everyone is: I am older than most traditional students (36 to be exact) and I have been out of HS since the 80's...what are my chances after being away for so long? CAL is my dream school and these last 2 solid years of CC I have maintained my GPA, the Mandarin classes brought my GPA from 4.0 to 3.69
input is appreciated =)

luvtoolearn...is sociology popular or difficult major?

its popular!

oh...10 char

Anyone got this from UCI?
