They don't even get your HS transcripts until you're accepted, and they only get them to verify you went to high school and to satisfy language requirements and whatever other requirements can potentially be satisfied.

I wouldn't worry about signing into the update sites again. FEB 14 was the deadline, but I think you can actually update the data and make it more accurate later if you please... That's just my interpretation.

You mean FEB 15.

And about updating AFTER the deadline, I'm not sure if they will allow it, because for the Berkeley supplemental update site thing, there's a timestamp everytime you submit any changes which MAY jeopordize your admission.

Just my two cents.

^Yeah, hw323, I did notice that timestamp. That's why I never actually submit the changes. Those timestamps freak me out.

for the mid-semestre grade report (for ucla) do u send a transcript or a letter? when do they ask for the grade report? and exactly how much does it contribute in their admissions decision? i think i asked this before..

why would anyone waste time by continuously checking the app update form after the deadline has passed? it wasnt a tough form to fill out and they gave us over a month to do it which is longer than they gave us for the entire app lol. plus, why torture yourself if you made a mistake that cant be fixed cus of a past deadline? just sit back and relax...i doubt there were any mistakes that could have been made on that form that would prevent a well-qualified person from getting in anyway

^^^^ well said

ckdunton, are you mad?

lol of course not startraksfinest. I'm sorry if you thought it seemed that way. I simply just didn't see the point in worrying about it after the fact, that's all. Plus, you said yourself it was a stupid question. I just figured I'd reiterate the fact that you have nothing to worry about.

^Okay, thanks. No problem. Yeah, I keep telling myself not to worry, but the wait is killing me.

bearclaw15, I was unsure too so, I also called Berkeley a couple weeks ago and she told me to NOT put it on the IGETC form and instead put in the comet box that I will fulfill my foreign lang. req with H.S. credit.
Oh, well I guess both are probably ok.

From past experience with Berkeley counselors/advisors, they don't always seem to know what they're talking about.

I've gotten quite a few contradictory and unhelpful answers on a variety of issues.

Has anyone gotten anything from UCLA?

no not me
ghjkgjkhghj

nope! supposedly, we are never gonna hear from them...until we get a letter in the mail :(

How weird, is it really that hard to send out one e-maill

At least we have our receipts and copies of our applications.

wait so we find out about ucla through the mail and not online?? no way..i know ppl logged onto a ucla website last year to hear results.
