<p>i finished applying to UCB,UCLA,UCSD,UCDavis,UCSB,UCIrvine, and UCSC. I also wanted to know what you all think my chances at Duke, Johns Hopkins, Boston University, and University of Washington are.</p>

<p>3.3uw, 3.7hs, 3.4 uc gpa (kinda sucks, sort of discussed reasoning in my essays)
1500 (790m,710v), 790IIc, 660 Writing, 720 biology
i don't think there is much point to ap tests for admissions so i didn't study for the ones i took but chem 3, bio 4, us hist 4
soph: world history, ceramics, alg 2h, english 10, spanish 2, chem h, soccer
junior: spanish 3, trig h, chem ap, us hist ap, english 11 h, bio ap,soccer,track
senior:lang ap, calc bc ap, physics ap, stats ap, gov/econ, soccer
including sports, internship, work experience, volunteer, intern/volunteer thing in Turkey i have about 1600 hours.
One of the top public schools in California</p>

<p>basically the most important factor in college admissionsl (as far as i know) is GPA, so that really hurts me, but i'm still clinging to hope that i have a shot at ucsd,ucla,duke,ucberkely, and johns hopkins.</p>

<p>the only thing bringing you down is your gpa. Your SAT scores are amazing though. however, you might want to try and bring up that writing score...the UCs put double emphasis on SATIIs. I think you're pretty much in at UCI, UCSC, UCSB, UCD, and BU.</p>
