I'll be applying for Cambridge this coming fall, and applications are due on October 15th. I know that the University receives your AP scores long after admissions are completed, and so your APs are based on predicted marks. But how about the SATs? I am going to take them in June, but I wanted to take them a second time. If I take them in October, would I be able to submit the mark later like the APs?

I would get them in by the deadline if I were you. I am not sure exactly how the system works for foreign students, but for local applications they expect as much as possible by the deadline. If you sit the APs after the deadline thats fine - if they offer you a place then it will be conditional on those grades. However if you have the opportunity to do your SATs before the deadline do it.

Which College are you applying to at Cambridge?

I’m a current undergrad (2nd year) at King’s so feel free to PM me with any questions you have about Cambridge and Cambridge applications I’m happy to help.

It’s good that you are starting now, rockinrobin337. Not only is the application due on Oct 15, but there is a physical component due IN CAMBRIDGE on that day. I think October SAT marks would get to the college in time for consideration, but you should definitely take the SAT before then just to be sure. You should also probably have some subject test scores to send. You will need to select a specific college and a field of study as well. Each college and each field has differing requirements as well. You may need to sit an additional exam arranged through Cambridge and your local high school. You will , probably , need to have an interview which may have to be in England, and will probably be in the winter. Oh, and the printed part of the application has to be on A4 paper.
