@Cazoon I looked through the thread and discovered you pole vault? That’s awesome! I pole vault too! I was thinking about continuing in college, especially since Chicago’s Div III. University of Florida is still a really great school, but I get what you mean about the North.
@doubledamn Thank you so much you are so sweet. I basically chose HU for the academics- there being less science majors kinda makes it easier to exploit the myriad of internship opportunities that are already allegedly plentiful at HU. And by default the classes would be smaller. I have no doubt that YOU are gonna kill it at UWMadison ^:)^ :-h :-h
hey guys, i have been accepted through the gap year option, but really want to matriculate this fall. does anyone know how i can make this possible?

Son did not make it off waitlist, just got the email. Just curious though, his email came from InternationalAdmissions at U Chicago, but we are not international. Did anyone elses say that too? Just found it odd. Anyways best of luck to all of you wonderful kids! I know my son will be happy and successful where ever he lands.

I’m sorry to hear that rejections were sent out you guys sound like an awesome group of people. But you all seem to have the go get 'em attitude that will definitely lead to success in college and beyond! UChicago definitely saw it when they decided to offer a spot on their waitlist

Final post here :-’) sniffs so got the rejection email. I’m glad it’s over. I needed the shove to move on. Funny, today I found my roommate and gave myself all the reasons why my present fate isn’t so bad. Hours later this email came.
