My daughter was accepted but have yet to receive snail mail packet. The online acceptance page has a tab for Financial Aid information. Under the tab, it reads as pasted below. Has anyone received scholarship information under this tab?

Residency Status: Non-resident

Information as of: 03/21/2010, 9:45:26 AM EDT

Our commitment to making a University of Delaware education affordable is seen in our reasonable tuition for in-state and out-of-state students and in our variety of scholarships, financial aid programs, and financing plans.

Applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships (the guidelines are available at [UD Admissions: Financial Your Degree](Financing Your Degree | University of Delaware)).

Need-based financial aid requires the completion of a the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”). If you have not yet filed a FAFSA, you can do it online at [FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid](http://www.fafsa.ed.gov) using the University of Delaware’s school code of 001431. Please note that Federal Student Aid is only available to permanent U.S. residents and some eligible non-citizens, please visit the Federal Student Aid Site for more information.

Note: Be sure to read any messages that appear on your Student Aid Report (SAR) and make any necessary corrections.

Did anybody get an acceptance letter and is still getting the unknown error message from the website?

When we click View Financial Aid status we get a page that says:

Your Financial Aid Status for 2010 - 2011
Congratulations you have been selected to receive financial assistance! We are pleased to let you know your financial aid award package for the coming academic year. Financial aid packages usually include one or more of the following: scholarships, loans, grant monies, and campus employment opportunities.

Then towards the bottom it says:

Student: Name - Residency Status: Non-resident

Information as of: 03/11/2010, 1:15:01 PM EST
Currency used is US Dollar.

Award Category Career Amount Offered
University of Delaware Scholar Scholarship Undergraduate $X,000.00
Total $X,000.00

Thanks MM. Doesn’t sound encouraging for my daughter’s fin aid/scholarships. If so, looks like UDEL will be out of the running. Too bad as it appeared to be a good match.
