Does anyone know if you have to or should put down housing deposit for UD to get preferred housing? Or is it randomly assigned?
Also when does honors information and merit information come out?

Housing does not open until April. It is not first come, first serve. Students have a choice of traditional or suite; suites are 2 or 3 students. You get 3 choices, however, it is randomly assigned.

D24’s portal password stopped working. She tried resetting her password but it asks for some sort of studentID (not her email address) which was never given to her. Has this happened to anyone? I think she emailed someone at UD for help, but basically she can’t login to view admissions results anymore.
Strange indeed? I hope you were able to resolve the issue.

Finally!! portal changed today
I wonder if they release batches by descending SAT/ACT score. Thoughts? The last batch was just above my S24s score.

anyone know how merit is awarded? My son hasn’t applied yet but would like to for regular decision, but I’d like to think he has a good shot at merit and I know some schools require you to apply by a certain date to be considered. I can’t find anything on the webiste
My son received a call from admissions asking if he was going to apply. This was at the end of October about 2 weeks after sending his SAT scores and about a week after he submitted his application. While the portal indicated the SAT was received, admissions (we think it was a student employee) indicated the data they were using was a few days old so likely the SAT was updated in the admin system. He then asked if there were any questions regarding admissions or anything else about the University.
Someone reported a business acceptance a couple of weeks ago.
That might have been me. My daughter was accepted as a Finance major in the College of Business on Nov 3rd.
