University of Delaware x Biology Program

University of Delaware is definitely a top contender for me amongst the number of schools I applied to. I applied as “undeclared” but since then I have figured out the career path I would like to explore. I intend to major in biology and attend medical school afterwards. Does anyone have any insight on the University of Delaware’s biology program - is it of a high quality, will it prepare me well for medical school, is biology a popular major at the school, etc.?

I’m not sure if your question has been answered or whatnot but I’m a junior biology major on the premedical track. UD has a fine biology program with many opportunities and classes to refine your medical knowledge. I highly suggest you look into UD’s Medical and Dental Scholars Program which is an early acceptance program with TJU’s Sydney Kimmel Medical College. Not only are the classes good quality but more importantly I have a good group of guys that I network with and a decent hospital that is only a bus ride away. Definitely a good spot to be if you are premed
