GPA- 3.22(unweighted) with a UF GPA of about 3.7
SAT- 2240 (800 CR, 750 Math, 690 Writing with a perfect Multiple Choice subscore)
ECs- No ECs until my senior year, but I am now a part of five clubs (obviously no leadership positions)
Class Rank- Top 15%.
Strength of Schedule- 15 AP/AICE classes by the time I graduate. 7 APs my senior year.
Volunteer- 8 hours when my transcripts were sent, but I should graduate with 100+.

Your SAT scores are way above the 75th percentile for UF, so that’s good. You also have a very rigorous courseload, which UF really likes.

However, your UF GPA of 3.7 is well below the 25th percentile of 4.0. UF also likes to see people in the top ten % of their class, so you’re close with 15%. Because UF values GPA and rank more than test scores, your chances for admission are okay, but not great. If your essay was extremely outstanding that could really help you since your EC’s probably won’t. Make sure you have safeties!

Thanks for the feedback. That’s why I’m so 50/50 on getting in. The poor GPA/lack of ECs had to do a lot with having to take care of my sister, she had a heart defect, my first 2.5 years of high school (mixed with some laziness) as when she got better my grades improved from a ~3.0 academic to over a 3.5.
