Hi! UF is my top choice right now, do I have a good chance with my stats below?

SAT: 1680 (retaking this October)
ACT: 29 (retaking)
GPA: cum: 3.7963 / academic core: 4.1625 / weighted: 5.

I have a blemish grade on my transcript right now for a honors math course back in sophomore year, but recently retook the class to receive an A. Will this deter my chances?

Although I plan to retake my SAT, I am still concerned about it as well! :frowning:

Take the SAT again, but don’t stress out too much about it. UF will use the higher score between your ACT and SAT. As it is, they would use the 29 for your ACT and ignore the SAT score.

Your grades and EC’s look great. UF is a match, but with holistic admissions it can seem a bit random at time. Always have a back-up.

Spend some time in August working on your essay, as UF considers it fairly important.
