University of Florida Cypress Hall and Infinity Hall

Hi, I am considering Cypress Hall as my number one preference for housing selection. Does anyone have any real photos of what the Cypress hall super suites and double suites look like? I have no clue and am having a hard time comparing it to Infinity Hall. Also, any advice about Infinity and Cypress Halls would be great. I don’t like how Infinity is off campus, which makes parking even more difficult than it already is as the parking garage near it only has 100 spots for residents. Is Infinity worth the extra $$$$ if it is off campus and further from classes? I feel that my $$$$ would be better spent at Cypress, which is on campus. Also, I am an incoming summer freshman so I understand that both halls are probably already occupied by upperclassmen. I just need to get a better sense of how I should list my preferences if I am chosen to be put in one of those halls. Also, do you think it would be smarter to get out of my contract before the deadline to find an apartment instead (it’ll be less money maybe with similar amenities)? So many questions, I know. I am just trying to wrap my head around all this so I can make the best decision. (I like how Cypress has the full beds, and you just share a bathroom with more people, but it is on campus, closer to classes, is slightly cheaper, and chances for garage parking are better). My other choices are definitely Murphree Hall, Buckman Hall, and Thomas Hall in the Murphree area. Any thoughts will be appreciated! Thanks!

I think it’s nice to live on campus as a freshman so you meet more people. Cypress seems a lot closer to the action than Infinity.

@Trisherella thank you! Yes I agree and found a roommate to live on campus with!
