University of Florida Pre-Health Post-Bacc student seeking admission to neuroscience programs

Hi all --
I've searched through the neuroscience grad school threads here and wanted to check to make sure I've gotten everything down that I need to in order to begin to prepare for grad school.
I'm not a traditional student, but I am still a young student. I graduated this May with a degree in Philosophy, so I understand I must
(1) complete a pre-health post-bacc program in order to get the appropriate undergraduate background in science and math...come out of this program with something near a 4.0
(2) Take the GRE and score at least a 1300 (I've seen 1400...but I know these scores aren't all important for grad school admission)
(3) Volunteer (I have been working in a neuropsychology clinic for the past 3 months that also conducts neuroscience testing as an assistant)..I plan on volunteering at Shands for the remainder of my education in addition to....
(4) Research! I think 2 years in a lab should get me to go to a few conferences and (if I'm lucky) get a publication out of it
Does this sound all right? Any other suggestions? I'm trying to distill information and check to see if I need to fill in the gaps anywhere per my particular situation.
