Hey i was wondering what my chances look like with a 3.2 and 31 earned credits.
Thanks.

ok.. no offense...

but this university is so out of order.... compared to more superlative universities that are being discussed on this forum.

You are absolutely competitive for U of Hawaii and will definitely get in...

I hope this makes you happy.

lol hope you're from UH, otherwise it's just bs what you're saying. it's not that easy to get into UH, especially a transfer applicant with 3.2 GPA, but i'd say it's 50/50. Good luck to you! im surprised that while im trying to transfer out of Hawaii, anyone would want to transfer here.

m.kenien, that was pretty rude. Someone who is interested in UIUC doesn't really have a right to talk smack about someone's preferred university being "out of order" because UIUC is not on the same level as a top15 university. Please leave your rude comments elsewhere.

OP, good luck getting accepted, I don't think you'll really have too much trouble getting accepted.. but college admissions are weird ya never know what can happen lol. I'll give you a 90% getting accepted.

burgler09 .... ** watch your mouth and look at the facts **

** University of Hawaii - Manoa is a third tier university ** whilst ** UIUC is the 37th most prestigious institution in the United States **. Stop being ignorant.

Secondly, I got accepted in the 2nd best accounting programme in this country according to USNEWS and Public Accounting Report.

I hope this will shut you up. You are so dense.

I am far from dense, I think it is ridiculous you would make a statement like that to somebody. I have a little something called people skills, I know how to not be a jerk to people asking a question.

What gives you the right to belittle someone else's choice simply because the university you are thinking about is higher ranked? How about you grow up.

burgler might not know what hes talking about, but at least he/she's not an arrogant jerk (i considered using different words but im keeping in PG). good luck in life with that attitude...putting gokylego down was totally unnecessary and just made you look pretty stupid for someone in such a fantastic accounting program

milkdud, I know exactly what i'm talking about. UIUC is a wonderful university, but compared to others it doesn't have close to a reputation, so I don't understand what gives m.keinen the right to belittle someone else's choice.

Perhaps... none of u got my point... I never brought UIUC into the scenario for competition ... its burgler09 ...

Ok!... when u have universities like WashU... Duke... Cornell... USC... Berkeley... NYU... Dartmouth... Stanford... Penn... Notre Dame...UVA being discussed on this forum.... how is University of Hawaii - Manoa... not out of order??????????

m.kenien- i have been noticing your less than quality posts for a while now. not only are you a bit defensive, you are also totally out of line in responding to this thread. this forum is a transfer forum and topics are not relegated to the top 15 schools. if you are not gonna contribute to the op then why bother to post at all? seriously, the pompous attitude needs to go.

this isn't "elite college discussion"
it's "college discussion".
there's plenty of non-top 50's being discussed.
why would you insult the OP? what's the point? let go of the superiority complex, buddy.

ah, the previous poster and i said essentially the same thing.

m.kenien, it's really out of line...

The "out of order" was my initial reaction... I think I perceive things a bit differently...

Blokes... don't worry.. I am nobody... I have already been rejected by UVA and Berkeley

oh. a tad bitter, then?
no reason to insult the OP though, seriously.

everybody needs to keep in mind that m.kenien is from france. that ought to explain a lot things.

SanClemente....what do u mean by when u say i am from france? Just curious

m.keinen.. i brought it into the picture because I have seen you discussing it... and for some reason i didn't see anybody giving you crap for that. You come off as an arrogant *****. None of us care where you have been accepted or rejected, just don't treat other people poorly, its a transfer forum where any school can be discussed.

m.kenien- all i am trying to say is that you're not exactly breaking down the stereotypes that many have about the french.

SanClemente...so you think that French people are arrogant? Lol! you must go to Germany to experience the real racism... Germans can't stand foreigners...

m. kenien:

Who the hell are you to talk down to someone like that about their college chances? That is the most obnoxious, insincere comment I have ever read on this forum, rather--have ever heard period, inside or outside of this forum.

I don't care if you are a Harvard grad student (something which I am most certain you are far, far from) or a high school drop out (something which I still think you are far far below, maybe not on paper but definitely in common sense) but you have no right to just shoot someone down like that.

As$hole. She has every right to ask her chances as does any person for any goddamn university in this country or elsewhere.
