University of Illinois Chicago ADMISSIONS

Hey I got a question for all you guys and gals. I was thinking about attending the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). I got a 22 on my ACT and my GPA is around 3.2. I rank 135/400 in my class and I have a like 3-4 EC’s along with 5 letters of recommendation. I was wondering if any one can tell me if I have a shot of getting admitted into UIC, I declared a undecided major on my application. Well that’s all I would appreciate any advise thanks again.

hey you should have no problem getting in. I know a bunch of people that got in with a 21 and a lower rank. Depaul might be another school you would want to apply to in chicago with your stats.

Hey I got another question for you all. I was looking online at UIC’s application status page and under decision it says, “Deferred - Manual Review Req” what does that mean? Does it mean I have a chance still or am I dead in the water? I am really stressing out about this please help me. Once again these are my stats. I got a 22 on my ACT and my GPA is around 3.2. I rank 135/400 in my class and I have a like 3-4 EC’s along with 5 letters of recommendation. The high school is a public school nothing special. OK so if any one can respond I would greatly appreciate it.

No that means that your application needs to be reviewed by someone in the admissions office

You should be in (I attended UIC years ago)
