Ok, so I know Iowa uses the RAI calculator system, and require a 245 for Iowa residents and 255 for other residents for guaranteed admission. Well, im from out of state, and my RAI score is 254. Does this mean I’m automatically denied admission, or can I still get in? And if so, would I have a better shot at getting in if I submit a personal essay or a letter of rec?
Well I think you’re close enough. My RAI score is 259 and I’m out of state and still don’t know if that is high enough. Also, Iowa does not accept letters of rec or personal essays, unless you are waitlisted.
