University of Iowa Honors Program Chances

Hello. What are my chances for getting accepted into the University of Iowa Honors Program? They seem to only care about GPA and the ACT score, so I'll just post those for now.

GPA: 3.7
ACT: 27

Now, on the University of Iowa's website, the requirements to get into the Honors program are a bit different. The following section is quoted from the website of University of Iowa:

"First-year students are admitted to the University of Iowa Honors Program based on a combination of their high school grade-point average (GPA) and their ACT or SAT scores.

Admission requirements for the honors program

Incoming students need an ACT composite score of 27 or higher (combined SAT Critical Reading and Math score of 1210 or higher) and a high school GPA of 3.80 or higher. Students also qualify with a GPA of 3.70 or higher and an ACT composite score of 30 or higher (or the SAT equivalent of 1330 or higher).

Since my gpa is only one point away, does anybody here think they would consider me if they saw that my weighted gpa is actually in a 4.0 range. That's my estimation since my school does not count weighted gpa, and I know most colleges don't, but does anybody here think they would consider me if they see that I have gotten A's in honors and AP classes?

no they probably wouldn’t care… sorry. Just retake the ACT in Sept. study over the summer and get a 30, that’s your best bet. Otherwise you might get screwed and not get in. It would be worth it to retake it in the long run.

How hard is it to raise the ACT score by three points, or to even reach 30?

you’ll be fine, just study over the summer

Because I want to know how to raise my ACT score by three points?
