Im going there in the fall and it was my number one choice in the central area of the states. go on the website and look for the video that was on the “Big Ten College Channel” on tv and there was a documentary on the dance program. I watched that and completely fell in love with the diversity of the program, the well known teachers, and all of the oppotrunities the program also gives to its students during the summers. It’s not as popular in names as Julliard & etc, but it does have a fabulous dance program and one of the best in the Midwest. I am EXTREMELY excited to start in the fall and will be minoring in Integrated Physiology to help with anatomy and understand my body better.

This was one of two top choice for my daughter after auditions this year. She loved the auditions, people, styles and the ability to be part of a big university. She wanted the option of a BA with a double major/minor or a BFA, and the dual emphasis. She has been in a classical ballet program but has also had a significant amount of modern which is the area that she wanted to pursue and felt like the program would be a good fit for her. She was accepted and felt the quality of the auditionees was generally high. IN the end the finincial aid package as an out of state public made her attending prohibitive.

bebe15 - enjoy your freshman year there, as it truely sounded like a wonderful program.
