@orvanik you probably will not find an equivalent even if it is equivalent. BMGT230 is basically business stat or elements of stat what courses at your school would match that?
I don’t think there’s too many colleges that UMD accepts the business stat class for but I may be wrong
Any CS majors here? I’m planning to take the equivalency exam for 131 and maybe 132, but am not sure when to apply to take it. I hear the requirements are more stringent in recent years and you have to score 80% to skip
@orvanik I looked it up and MATH 115 from your school would be the equivalent of BMGT 230 at UMD.
@AndradeJ Awesome. I took that class. I will try to contact advising tomorrow to make sure they considered that in my decision. If not, ohh well.
@orvanik talking to an advisor is a good idea. This is the advisor that helped me find an equivalency to BGMT 230.

I haven’t been keeping up with everyone’s individual situations but I know that LEP decisions are made after general admissions, not at the same time. Typically you hear back from an LEP in May I think!
No problem @orvanik it will transfer for sure as BMGT 230.
@bbe267 for internal business transfers it should be before may if they’ve met all the requirements. Hopefully tomorrow.
@AndradeJ Good luck - I’m hoping to apply to the Business school in Fall 17’ or Spring 18’. I need B Stat and Accounting. Did you transfer to UMD after 1 or 2 years at a CC?

@applicantumd I read about that, did you send in new academic information that wasn’t present during the initial
review?
The new information I have is more medical than it is academic so I sent in a 2 page letter with answers to the questions they give on the appeal site. I added information about the work I’ve taken up since applying, personal medical history that would’ve affected my grades, and also a detailed response to why I think umd is the school for me.
Haven’t gotten the chance to post today but I got in!!! With a 2.9 GPA, 53 credits already and 9 in progress, MTAP member, Solid essay, applied on NOV20 lol i know, wayyyyyyy too soon but no complaints since I got in
@ShwiftyPugs I have a 2.93 gpa currently. Will have above 3.0 after this semester is over. 14 credits completed and 16 in progress. I’m in state.
@bbe267 I received my LEP decision yesterday as an external transfer.
Just recalculated my gpa and it’s not 3.33, it’s 3.41 with 45 credits. I thought I had good chances 
Does anyone know when to expect financial aid and transfer credit decisions?
