University of Maryland Fall 2015 Transfer

So I am currently a Freshman at a private school in New York, but I really do not like the college and I want to transfer to UMD. I am a Maryland resident, with a 3.69 high school GPA, I have 31 College Credits so far ( I spent senior year at a community college in Maryland) and my accumulative GPA at college so far is a mediocre 3.22. I do have all the English 101 and College math requirements fulfilled and I applied by the priority deadline. I am taking another 15 credits this semester as well. Is that good enough to be accepted as a transfer student? Any advice or would be really appreciated! This is my first time posting anything on these forums so I apologize if there has been a thread similar to this already created.

I think you do. What’s your major? I applied for fall transfer also! I am so nervous!

Hey! Thank you for the response, I applied as a Letters and Sciences degree because at the moment I really have no idea as to what I am interested in majoring as and am still trying out different courses. Good luck! I hope you can get in also! Mid April seems so far from now haha
