<p>Hello all. Please chance me for the UMD priority admission as well as possible Honors College admission/ BK recipient. Thank you.</p>

<p>Stats:</p>

<p>4.0 UW / 4.71 W
Maryland Resident- I attend the 2nd best public school in the state of Maryland (Moco)
School does not rank. It is very well known amongst college admission counselors- send MANY kids to ivies.</p>

<p>All honors classes except for 1 AP soph. year (Gov't), 4APs junior year (Chem, comp. pol., psych, spanish), and 2 APs senior year (Calc Bc and Spanish Lit). I got a 5 on all except for Chem (4) and BC/Lit which I havent taken yet.</p>

<p>Hispanic</p>

<p>Sat Scores: Superscored: 690R , 800M , 750W (don't look at) -- 1490/1600</p>

<p>Sat 2 Scores: Spanish (790), Chemistry (750), Math II (710)</p>

<p>Activities:</p>

<p>Key Club President- all 4 years
Internship at the National Institutes of Health
Job at local supermarket
Founder of Latino Club</p>

<p>Awards:
AP scholar w/ Distinction
Honor Roll
Nothing else, really. I have 570+ hours of community service</p>

<p>Recs: Should be okay from both teachers- not too spectacular / counselor rec is probably pretty generic</p>

<p>Essays/Short-response: Pretty good essays. Short responses weren't as good- somewhat contrived and rushed.</p>

Honors UMD: Low match/match (depends on how much bearing use of priority app will have)</p>

<p>I’m guessing you go to one of the Ws, I’m at wchs. Your in, you have a good chance at honors too. I hope you made sure your essays were good. And Hispanics are the least represented at UMD so it’ll help u even more.</p>

<p>Where do you go? Im at BCC-which is ranked higher than the Ws btw Coola426-and you will definitely get in if you applied priority.</p>

<p>I’m at Sherwood, and I’d match you to honors for sure honestly. I know tons of people who got in last year who told me they totally BSed the short responses</p>
