Hello, I really want to go to the University of Maryland to major in Criminal Justice.
I am junior at the best h.s. in the state (I'm out of state). On the PSAT a few months back, I got a 1980. Now, I plan to study and hope to do much better on the real SAT.
Every class I've taken has been honors except those that are AP.
Here are the 5 AP classes I've taken so far:
1. US History (3 on test)
2. AP Chem
3. AP Latin
4. AP Lang. and Composition
5. AP Psychology
I'm taking the last 4 this year, so I havent taken the tests yet. I plan to take another 3 AP's next year.
My unweighted GPA is about a 3.75/4 and my weighted is about a 4.55/5.

Extracurriculars:
-Latin club (planning on all 4 years) --> trip to Greece soph. yr. and have been to state conventions and won a few state and national awards
-member of national Latin honor society (planning on all 4 yrs.)
-Red Cross Club (freshman yr)
-Volunteer at nursing home (Sophomore yr)
-Church youth group (planning on all 4 years) --> went on mission trip freshman yr.
-Culinary Club (jr. yr.)
-Manager of girls varsity basketball team (Freshman, Soph. years)
-Varsity soccer (planning on all 4 years)

I also worked a summer job doing office work after sophomore year.

I feel like my extracurriculars list is pretty weak. Also, even though I spent a lot of time at the nursing home, I never bothered to get my hours for it, so I have very few service hours.

So, what do you think my chances are? Thanks in advance.
