If im in state with an 1160 SAT score do i still have a chance at the University of Maryland?

You've got a shot at college park depending on your other stats but a better shot at UMBC

An 1160 is pretty low for UM--College Park (but still have a chance since you're in-state), decent for UM--Baltimore County, and absolutely awesome for UM-Eastern Shore. Of course, your SAT I score not nearly as important as your high school GPA so you'll have to provide more stats for us.

Not to hijack someone elses thread, but are standards for transfers about the same as they are for freshmen? I really did not do enough research into colleges last year and ended up only applying and going to UMBC, after a semester there I am pretty sick of the environment there. And since UMD is better academically, socially, and is actually cheaper then UMBC I'm lookin to transfer there.

I'd be comming from a University of Maryland system school, I am a Maryland resident, and I have to decide whether to do their early action or regular application. If I do the early action I will have to send them a oppy of my high school transcript in addition to my college one, so stats as follows:

High School Gpa:3.3 weighted
College GPA:3.21 (3.3-3.5 if I wait and apply in july)
AP Credits:Calculus BC, Comp Sci A, Psychology.
SATS:Highest:1310, Composite(highest of each section, i know some colleges look at that):1350
