My GPA usually hovers around a 3.8-3.9 weighted, constantly make honor roll

Extracurriculars is where everything falls pretty badly:
Play Club football (Captained the side a few times)
Played Development football
Played JV Football (cocaptained the side a few times)
Volunteer linesman
Registered Referee in the official FA (football association
Football Supporters Club at school
Investment Club
Did an internship at Ernst n Young
interested in majoring in finance or history

I have basically no volunteer hours and tbh it will most likely stay that way when it comes time to apply.

I’d say you have a decent chance, but can I just ask why miami? Do you have other colleges in mind? I live in Florida so just wondering

Just submit the ACT, not the SAT. And you’d need good essays and teacher recs

I have other colleges in mind like NYU, University of Michigan, North Carolina, UCSD, and UC Irvine (all reach), but out of all of those I would still prefer to go to Miami. Miami sounds look a really great school and it’s a cool area. Maybe the hours I’ve spent playing GTA Vice City and watching Scarface skew my view of Miami a little but its still a great place nonetheless. The only problem for me is probably getting used to the humid heat.
