University of Miami

Hi, I applied to the University of Miami as my safety school for the fact that I knew I would be able to get good merit money from the school. The minimum criteria for getting a 3/4 scholarship is 1400 SAT and top 5% of class. To get a full scholarship you need 1500 SAT and top 1% of class (the difference between scholarships is $7,000 per year). I have a 1480 SAT and I am in the top 1% of my class. My question is- do you think it is still possible to get a full scholarship, or is it a set cut off that would not be broken? Also, there are SATs on January 22nd. If I took those could the scores be sent in time to get to the school with a February 1 deadline? What can I do now because I don’t want 20 points to have the possibility of costing me over 28,000 dollars for the next four years? Thanks for the help.
