<p>I am really interested in going to a school with almost instant access to a big city but also getting the college experience. i am planning on majoring in music and internships are really important for me. could anyone share their experince at University of Miami.</p>
<p>Well, I don’t go to UM, but I live pretty close, & I can tell you Miami is a really awesome place for internships.</p>

There is discipline specific knowledge and insights beyond the scope of the general CC posting population. You also need to be a bit more specific in defining “music”, as the degree paths, options as well as the audition/admission criteria will vary.</p>
