Just got off the phone with UG Admissions office. Was told they will notify in next 3 days (by end of the month).
Hate to say, but most likely an announcement of the closure of the WL. Extremely unlikely that they will take large number of applicants.
RIP they are out of enrollment spots. Did anyone get in? Or did no one get off the waitlist this year.

@carbonatedmilk Sorry to hear. There were at least 4 students/parents who posted here on CC that were offered spots off the waitlist. Their posts were dated Saturday 6/8.
Decisions just came out! Unfortunately I was rejected, however, being an international Engineering applicant, I kinda expected it.
This is what the letter said:
Thank you for your willingness to be on our waitlist for our College of Engineering. You are a very accomplished student, and we believe you could be successful at the University of Michigan.
However, we have now met our enrollment goals and unfortunately will not be able to offer you freshman admission for Fall 2019.
If your interest in an Engineering degree from the University of Michigan continues, please consider applying as a transfer student to the College of Engineering at the junior level. Your desire to join the Michigan family can be a reality.
The Office of Engineering Recruitment and Admissions will be happy to help you in your planning – contact their office directly at 734-647-7101 if you have individual questions regarding the transfer application process. You can also refer to the transfer information online at www.engin.umich.edu/admissions/undergrad/transfer-students/.

Well, the school I will be attending was one of my dream schools as well (UIUC!) so I’m not too sad. Good luck to you all, it’s been a long journey!

Mine hasn’t and no email yet. I’m wondering if they’re going by school, alphabetical, etc.
It was an email.
I think they’re notifying internationals first? I thought decisions come out at the same time for everyone…

Hi I just got my rejection letter 10 minutes ago and signed up to tell u guys about how great it was!!! But yeah I’m in-state LSA great stats and extra curriculars. I got about the same email as the COE one but just LSA . Thank you guys for the help.
I’m OOS and just got my email about the waitlist closure. I think they’re notifying in state applicants last.
Daughter received the email. Luckily, she moved on three months ago. I’ve been the one holding out hope. (I told her to accept the wait list spot even though she didn’t want to.) Time to put that “Pitt Dad” sticker on my car window.

@fiidad I was you in last year’s cycle. My kid had “moved on” (to UMich) very early in the process (EA). I was the one still hanging on until the “bitter end.”
