@jdawg24 When did you send your LOCI? I sent mine last Friday but I’m worried I am too late! Haven’t heard anything back yet & was deferred in December.
@Ochillith There is no correlation between the timing of previous decision removal with the new admission decision. Some were not removed until the new decision is out. Some were removed days ago and still pending an update in decision.
@RDJfan28 My S received the same letter, sent in his LOCI, and received a reply thanking him for his continued interest and noting that in his file. He takes that as a very clear signal that a LOCI is worth the trouble of sending.

Hey guys, congrats to the ones who have been accepted and good luck to the ones who are currently deferred!
My sister is in the same boat (EA deferred and waitlisted at UIUC for psychology). She’s pretty nonchalant about the whole thing (convinced that her stats are pretty low; American international student, IB diploma in the works, house captain (basically a faculty elected student body president), tons of extracurriculars, hosted a charity event for refugees in Lebanon).
-They asked for her mid-Feb grades, but her mocks didn’t go so well; would sending them in hurt her chances?
-How would we go about sending an LOCI? Is there a specific email address?
Hopefully we’ll see you all in September! (I’m applying for Rackham, it’s a long waiting game here too)

I just got accepted to LSA this morning. My preferred choice of admission was Ross though so will I still be evaluated for that since I haven’t gotten another decision on that?

@Blizzard1 yes it changed this morning and I got the email this morning, but my option to click on my decision for Ross is gone
@girl14195 you just threw a monkey wrench into the theory that decisions come out on Fridays with the portal updated at Midnight Thursday.

@girl14195 Is it possible you got the decision Friday and just got the email today? Did you check your portal between Friday and this morning before the email? I hate anomalies. :))
Confused- when you all say"decision tab" are you referring to the link under “New and Prospective Student” then “Application Status”? This is the link we have been following…

@Whitman6838 on another thread someone just posted this: “I called admissions on Friday and spoke to a regional admissions rep who answered the phone. He said that decisions will come out in 3-4 waves from now until end March, last week being the first round. He said that the next round will be in 2 weeks. He said that there are individual exceptions to this but not many. Previous years show the same thing…heavy activity every 2 weeks or so, with sporadic acceptances on Friday’s in-between. Anticipate a 2/16 early am portal update.”

I was deferred for Early Action to the COE on December 24th. I was just going to send my LOCI on February 4th but I got my admissions decision on 3rd February itself.
I feel so happy!!
@gracekelliee Doubt it. I really don’t think that I got accepted because of the LOCI anyway. The fact that you have not received a decision yet most likely means that they have not gotten to your app yet because they send decisions out in waves.
