@collegesavant1 Your counselors are likely basing their answer on previous years. According to last year’s thread, there were decisions sent the first Friday in Feb and then not again until the first Fri in March. So far that seems to be the case this year too. So yes, your counselors could very well be accurate if the process is consistent year after year. We are waiting on Ross also. Good luck!
Is there a group me for admitted students?
I was wondering the same thing as tomandjerryy, is there any sort of Facebook group or groupme? I have only seen the girls group and no one really posts in there
I know there’s an official Facebook page for admitted students. But it’d be nice to have a groupme haha
There is an official FB group and in that group there’s a link to the big UMich 2022 groupme chat (900+ students)

I’ve received an interview request (HAIL). Does anyone know what it means?
Just checked the portal, they received my midyear grades last Friday. My school is notoriously slow with that kind of thing. Does this basically mean I won’t hear until March?
@happygal2017 The HAIL interview is simply an interview to get to know you better, things that might not show up in your essays or activities. It’s conducted by an engineering alumnus and was laid back in my experience. It usually happens in person but mine was required to take place over the phone. They’ll ask you a few questions and you get to ask them a few questions as well. I was accepted early action and I highly recommend that you do it, it’s fun, easy, and can only benefit you.
@berkeley101 did they even release decisions on Monday? Did you find out through email or the portal?
Does Ross look at our mid-year transcripts?? I was accepted EA but my counselors sent in my mid-year!! I know they review the most recent one but tbh, how bad after an A average to a B average will the Ross admissions board consider you for admission?
Should I send in an optional report explaining how I had a severe illness for almost a month of school and missed critical weeks of IB/AP instruction in the first quarter??\
Also I just want to know when I’ll find out if I was accepted… any info regarding this Friday?? Ik first friday of March is most likely
