Does anyone know when Michigan sends out scholarship notifications? (accepted after being deferred but really need aid to attend)
I know someone who was waitlisted in February. She couldn’t take the stress of waiting and decided to commit to MSU
@caveatesq I know a girl that was waitlisted in February and a boy denied shortly before that. The girl could t handle the stress of waiting and committed to MSU. My theory is that they send denials and waitlisted first and ifwe have made it this far then we have a good chance 
I’m trying to keep my head up. This has really taken a toll on me…
I think they leave the rejections till the last weeks
Even last year decisions came only by April 3rd or 4th. Considering they have even more applicants this year, I’m guessing decisions won’t be out until mid-April.
I went to an admitted student day and the speaker said they got a new record of over 70,000 applications!
did decisions come out??
I feel for all of you deferred applicants now. My son was deferred a few years ago and got the good news about this time. While his experience has been great he would have been happy at his other choices too. It’s clearly what you make of it and seek out. Nothing is handed to you, anywhere.
Is there a groupme for admitted students or anything besides the Facebook group?
My daughter just got her rejection to Stamps via email. Looking at the portal, though, the “decision” button is now gone. Gotta admit, a little relieved–not because Michigan isn’t a fabulous school, but because it IS, and an acceptance would have meant flying there to take a second look (because she’s mostly interested in/applied to/accepted to art schools). But there was a small part of her that thought going to an art school at a big university would have been fun!
In mid march (3/14?)I did my interview for HAIL engineering. My interviewer said that all applications will be released by 4/1. I am really really really ready for this weekend. It is possible that the university has backed down on that promise. I think it is safe to expect a pretty big wave this weekend.
Does anyone know about what time honors decisions will be released tomorrow?
have they released RD decisions yet? or has everything up until now been mainly EA deferral decisions?
@whisperingheart Well what do you mean by “something wrong with it”? If you’ve gotten a decision, that means your application was complete and they were able to read everything and decide. If you haven’t heard back from any, check the portals and you might have missed something. Best of luck!!
@indigoelephant @whisperingheart that’s not true. They haven’t released all decisions yet. While it is true that they leave the bulk of the rejections until the end, the acceptances are not done yet.
