If you applied to LSA honors, does that mean you were already accepted and were put in a pool with others who want to be in the honors college?

@kl95070 If you were deferred from the early action round you are part of the regular decision round. There’s no separate category of applicants deferred from EA and no unified time when such candidates would be notified.
We should all pray for each other now. I got an Ivy League waitlist yesterday, so I could use some good college news.
@knightstemplar I agree. This is my #1. I have the legacy aspect because my sister goes there, great lettwrs of rec , essays and extracurriculars, but my SAT and ACT scores are very low and I have a gpa below average. Also my class rigor is pathetic because I listened to my dumbass counselor when he downgraded me and told me not to take AP’s. I’ve only taken AP Lit this year and I just hate how my life has gone and those dumb choices I made. I’m a good student and know I can be successful at u of m. My bf got in for premed but that’s no surprise. He also got into John Hopkins. But he really seems to think I’ll make it and they will look past some of my academic flaws. I’m really sorry this is so long I just need to vent… I’m really worried. I’m so passionate about u of m. Ive had amazing experiences there and have connections in that community. It’s just where I’m supposed to be.

@GoBluee Sounds like you have a very supportive and smart boyfriend there. He probably knows you better than I do, so I don’t know what your chances are at getting in. I think decisions will come out at midnight, noon, or 5, so I would check in the morning, afternoon, and evening, but it’s probably not worth staying up until midnight for this unless you’re staying up anyway.
So you either get an email saying “Congratulations. . . “ or one that says “Thank you for your interest. . .”??
